Privacy Policy

This policy covers the RugLooms website, a catalogue for our antique and vintage rug showroom in Los Angeles. This site does not offer checkout or customer accounts.

Information collected

When you visit, the server and delivery provider may process technical information such as your IP address, requested pages, browser information and request time to deliver and protect the site. The website does not include advertising pixels or audience analytics.

If you contact us, we receive the contact details and information you choose to provide. The online inquiry form requests your name, email address, optional rug reference and message. It is currently unavailable; it does not submit information until configured. Please do not include payment information or other sensitive information.

How information is used and shared

Inquiry information is used to respond to your request and discuss the rugs or showroom visit you ask about. When enabled, online submissions will be sent through Web3Forms to the showroom’s designated inbox. Delivery and email providers process information needed to provide their services. Information may also need to be disclosed to comply with applicable law.

The current local preview runs on the project computer. Cloudflare is planned for public hosting. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy and Web3Forms’ privacy policy for their processing practices. The final hosting and form configuration will be reflected here before launch.

Cookies and privacy signals

The website code does not set cookies or store tracking identifiers in your browser. It does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. It does not track you across third-party websites and does not change its behavior in response to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals because those activities are not enabled. External services

Google Maps are links, not embedded trackers. If you follow a link, the destination’s own policies apply and that provider may collect information, including through cookies. Fonts are served with this website. Catalogue photographs are delivered by Sanity’s image service. See Sanity’s privacy policy.

Access, corrections and deletion

To ask about information you have supplied, request a correction or request deletion, call (323) 591-1380 or write to RugLooms, 620 S La Brea Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90036. We may need information to verify your request. Applicable legal requirements may limit deletion. Please do not send sensitive identity documents through the inquiry form.

Retention and security

Provider logs and correspondence have separate retention periods. Contact the showroom for information about a particular inquiry. The final inquiry-retention schedule is being confirmed before the form is activated. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Children

This catalogue is intended for a general adult audience and does not request information from children under 13. Contact the showroom if you believe a child has provided personal information.

Policy changes

Updates will appear on this page with a revised date. Material changes will also be announced on the website before the new practice begins.
